Holiday Break Activities

December 21 – 5, 2020

Make the Museum part of your holiday tradition! Take your family’s picture in front of our 14-foot ornament tree or get in the holiday spirit by going on a Winter Wonders Gallery Hunt. Enjoy a Hot Glass Demonstration, and submit your drawing to You Design It; We Make It for a chance to have your design made by one of our gaffers (included in Museum admission). Enjoy extended Make Your Own Glass hours (fee) and make a glass ornament or snowman.

Please note that the Museum is closed on December 24 and 25, and January 1.

Activities for all ages. Included in the cost of admission.

Glassmaking Demos
Watch as expert glassmakers transform molten glass into beautiful objects at the live, narrated Hot Glass Demonstrations. Don’t miss the Flameworking and Glassbreaking Demos.

You Design It; We Make It!
Submit a drawing of something you’d like to see come alive in glass. One piece will be made during the Hot Glass Demonstration and pieces will be chosen daily for the flameworking demonstration. Glassmakers will choose drawings and make those pieces from start to finish.
