Glassmaker Stine Bidstrup will be an Artist-in-Residence at The Studio from November 2nd through December 5th. Listen to her discuss her work and process during this informal lecture on November 19th at 12:00 p.m. During her residency, Stine intends to push her focus on the exploration of glass color through the layering of colored glass and with interchanging components of opacity and transparency.  Free and open to the public; no reservations required.

Stine Bidstrup is a Danish artist whose work explores optical phenomena and interprets ideas about utopian visions through glass sculptures, installation, and video. By using spatial and tactile experiences, she creates works that interject cultural layers of memories and events.
