See Guest Artists Karina Guévin and Cédric Ginart during a live, narrated demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop on June 20 from 6 to 7:30 pm. Flameworkers Guévin and Ginart employ a wide variety of techniques using rod and tubing to create sculptural objects that have visual impact.
Ginart works as a scientific glassblower at Montréal University and runs a flameworking studio in Québec. Guévin teaches flameworking and exhibits glass sculptures and jewelry in Canada, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.
This demo is included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).
