Watch live as Guest Artist Catherine Labonté debuts a new, never-before-seen glass animal during her livestreamed demo in the Amphitheater Hot Shop on Friday, October 1 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Known for her curiously cute and thoroughly whimsical glass animal creations, Labonté will be hosting Adopt-a-Glass-Pet Day in the Museum Shops after her livestreamed demo from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Currently living and creating in Montréal, Canada, Labonté says she hopes that the objects and characters she creates bring humor and surprise to those who see them. This special demo is included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).

The cartoonish glass animals Catherine Labonté creates are always a technical challenge, but she hopes the objects will evoke laughter and wonder in the viewer.
