July 28, 2021 10:00 am–11:00 am

Experience a high energy performance of drum and dance from Guinea, West Africa with performer/teacher Mohamed Diaby. You'll learn about the language, history, geography, meaning, and purpose of each rhythm and dance performed.

Stick around after the headliner's show for an  Oatmeal Can Drum activity from our friends at The Southeast Steuben County Library. For the activity, you'll need the following supplies: an empty oatmeal can (keep the lid on), two plain balloons, twine or ribbon, duct tape, paint (optional), and an adult to help you use scissors.
